The Dr. Carol DeLaurier Media Center is a beautiful, new, multi-purpose facility that serves as the heart of the school. Students, parents, faculty, and community members utilize materials and equipment for recreation, reference, and information purposes. The objective of the Media Program is to be a center for the joy of reading for all students. The media center provides access to information and ideas for all users. It affords opportunities for students to appreciate literature and the cultural arts, to learn creative thinking skills, to become critical seekers of knowledge so they can become independent life-long learners and decision makers.

                 Mrs. Fernandez puts on a puppet show with a little help from our students.

We welcome you to come check out the * magic * at the media center which includes: 

	A growing collection of print and non-print materials including books, videos, periodicals, and equipment.
	14 Networked computers with AR reading tests, technology training, and Internet access.
	Closed Circuit TV Broadcast Studio – home of WOWL, Emerson Elementary School’s live morning broadcast Program.
	Wonderful volunteer program.
